Monetary support is raised via fundraising events, private donations, volunteer opportunities, and through small donations received as thanks for technological support on computer systems.
 All money that is raised is put into a single bank account designated to act as a scholarship for the students sponsored by SOAP.

The board chooses how much money is needed per term or semester, and the money is sent either directly to the school where a student is attending, or given to the student to hand over to school officials. All receipts received from the latter transactions are available for public scrutiny.

Individuals can donate via bill pay on online banking, they can donate at fundraising activities, or they can sponsor a child directly. The money procured goes towards tuition for school, text books, food, housing and medical needs for all of the students sponsored by SOAP.
